Dotze
sentits
Twelve Senses
Dotze
sentits, Poesia
catalana d'avui (Twelve senses, Today's Catalan Poetry) is a Mac/PC
CD-ROM (in Catalan) based on the works, lives and ideas of twelve
catalan
poets: Blai Bonet, Joan Brossa, Enric Casassas, Narcís Comadira,
Feliu Formosa, Pere Gimferrer, Maria Mercè Marçal, Miquel
Martí i Pol, Josep Palau i Fabre, Francesc Parcerisas,
Màrius
Sampere and Jordi Sarsanedas.
The interface of Dotze
sentits guarantees an easy approach to the subject: it keeps a
surprise
effect that incites the exploration of the CD-ROM and the reception of
several multimedia materials around poetry.
Dotze
sentits
includes poems performed in video or audio by its authors, manuscript
views,
text and fonts animations, interviews, personal photographs, objects,
works
and hobbies commented by themselves.
Through a theatre
metaphor, with
audio and animation elements, the interactor may organise a
personalised
poetry reading.
It contains also a more
traditional
encyclopedic approach with an exhaustive information: biography,
bibliography
and articles about each author and about contemporary Catalan
poetry.
Dotze
sentits
is a production by the Audiovisual Institute, edited in 1996 by the
Pompeu
Fabra University, Edicions Proa and Institut d'Edicions de la
Diputació
de Barcelona, and directed by Jaume Subirana and Xavier Berenguer.
It received the Spanish
Möbius
1996 award (cultural category).
